1. Eligibility and Registration

Age: You must be of legal marriageable age as per Indian law (currently 18 years for females and 21 years for males).

Intent: Registration is strictly for individuals looking for a life partner for themselves or on behalf of their children or siblings.

Accuracy: You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information. Using aliases or false identities is strictly prohibited and will lead to account termination.

2. Search and Use of Profiles

Limited License: Registered members are granted a limited, non-transferable license to search profiles solely for the purpose of finding a matrimonial match.

Non-Commercial Use: You may not use profile data for any commercial purpose, marketing, or data mining.

No Guarantee: While we strive to provide a reliable matchmaking platform, we do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by other users. We strongly advise members to conduct their own background checks before proceeding with any matrimonial decision.

3. Media Guidelines: Uploading & Downloading

Profile Pictures: Users must upload genuine and recent photographs. You must own the rights to all photos you upload.

Prohibited Content: Uploading photos containing children, celebrities, scenery, or any obscene, offensive, or suggestive content is strictly prohibited.

Downloading & Privacy: Downloading, taking screenshots of, or distributing the personal photos of other members is strictly prohibited. These photos are intended for viewing only within the platform. Unauthorized distribution is a violation of privacy and may result in legal action.

4. Code of Conduct and Respect

Respectful Interaction: Members must interact with each other with dignity, honesty, and respect.

Zero Tolerance Policy: Any form of abusive language, vulgar comments, harassment, or inappropriate behavior in chats or profile descriptions will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

Blackmailing and Threats: Any attempt to blackmail, threaten, intimidate, or extort another member will be reported to the Cyber Crime Cell and the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

5. Data Privacy and Security

Confidentiality of Contact Details: Your mobile number and email address are kept confidential. They will only be shared with other members if you explicitly grant permission or through our premium View Contact feature.

Misuse of Data: Collecting, harvesting, copying, or using the personal information of other members, including email addresses and phone numbers, for any purpose other than genuine matrimonial matchmaking is strictly prohibited.

6. Safety and Blacklisting

Reporting: Users are encouraged to report any suspicious, fake, or abusive profiles using the Report feature available on the platform.

Account Review: AssamDoctors reserves the right to monitor profiles and platform activities to help maintain the safety and integrity of the community.

Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete any account that violates these Terms and Conditions without refunding any subscription fees paid.

7. Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Guwahati, Assam.

Implementation Recommendations

• "I Accept" Checkbox: During the registration process, users should not be allowed to proceed unless they accept these Terms and Conditions by selecting the required checkbox.
• Screenshot Protection: For the Android application, consider implementing Secure Window flags to help prevent users from taking screenshots of profile photos.
• Watermarking: Automatically apply an "AssamDoctors" watermark to all uploaded profile photos to discourage unauthorized downloading and misuse on other platforms.
